kengon is a musician, singer, and composer.

I started my musical journey playing guitar at age 12, deep in the backwoods of Northeastern Pennsylvania with my Grandfather and Uncle learning classic Country Music.

Having developed an intense love for the instrument and music, I applied to the prestigious Guitar Institute of Technology ("GIT") offered by Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, and graduated with the Fall 1988 class.

I bring passion, enthusiasm, and musical skill to my works. My artistic intention is to co-create satisfying experiences by connecting deeply with people and celebrating the gift of music.

While fluent in multiple styles of music, my approach to playing, writing, and arranging transcends a single genre, representing a blend of my cumulative life experience that is "uniquely kengon."

Q: What do people usually enjoy most about your services?

"Clients love the mix of songs I play. I'm into all kinds of music, so I try to include a little bit of everything in my set. First off, I pick songs that I really enjoy playing and singing. Why play something I don't love, right? Secondly, I work on arrangements that make the songs sound familiar, but also keep things fresh for me. Finally, I look for songs that are crowd-pleasers. Songs that everyone knows and loves, but maybe haven't heard in a while or don't get played as often."

Q: What exactly do clients get when they book with you?

"When you book me, you're not just getting a musician; you're getting a partner dedicated to making your event a success. You have specific goals and intentions for your event, and I'm here to help you achieve them. I'll work with you to craft a custom setlist that fits your vision. I'm not your 'average musician.' I'm a multi-talented performer who can play, sing, live loop, and even serve as your 'Master of Ceremonies'! I'm not just there to play; I'm there to help make your event unforgettable!"
